About testosterone propionate

Testosterone propionate is testosterone bonded to propionic acid, a three-carbon ester. Schering introduced it in 1937 as Testoviron, making it the first testosterone ester sold commercially.

Because the propionate chain is short, the hormone is released from the oil more quickly than with longer esters such as enanthate or cypionate. It is often shortened to “Test Prop”.

How testosterone propionate compares
