NPP (nandrolone phenylpropionate) explained

Nandrolone phenylpropionate (NPP) is nandrolone attached to a phenylpropionate ester. Organon introduced it in the 1950s as Durabolin, a few years before Deca-Durabolin.

The phenylpropionate ester is much shorter than decanoate, so NPP releases nandrolone over a shorter period than Deca. Apart from the ester, the active hormone is the same.
